At The Cornish Haberdashery we always want you to be delighted with your purchase! If you wish to return an item, you can do so by emailing us at within 14 days of receiving your order, letting us know you'd like to return all or part of your order. Please return the item/s within 30 days of receipt.

All our fabric is cut from the bolt to order, and this constitutes a personalised order. We are very sorry but cuts of fabric cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged.

All other returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Any items which come with or in original packaging should not have been opened, and the packaging must be intact and suitable for resale. Sewing patterns must not have been opened and should still be sealed unused in their original envelopes.

Faulty or damaged products
We inspect every order very carefully before dispatch, if you have any problems with a faulty or damaged item please send an email to:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please obtain proof of posting, and consider using a trackable method of shipping for returning orders worth £20 or more, as all items are still your responsibility until they reach us.
